Sri Lanka Visa Application: Understand the Impact of a Passport Change
Businesses / Posted 7 hours ago by Eservices Network / 4 views / New
A passport renewal or replacement before departure can affect your travel documents. If you have already submitted a Sri Lanka eVisa application using your old passport, the passport number on your application may no longer match your new document. Travellers should check the applicable instructions before travelling.
An approved Sri Lanka e Visa should not be assumed to transfer automatically to a replacement passport. Anyone holding a Sri Lanka Visa should contact the relevant Sri Lankan immigration or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) authority to confirm the correct procedure. Checking the status of your Sri Lanka ETA Visa early can help you avoid unexpected issues at the airport.
