Travellers holding two passports should decide which document they will use before starting their Sri Lanka eVisa application. The choice should depend on nationality, visa eligibility and the passport they intend to present during the journey. When applying for a Sri Lanka e Visa applicants must provide the correct passport number and nationality as printed in the selected document.

This is important because the Sri Lanka Visa approval is connected to the passport information submitted online. Keeping the same document for the entire journey also helps avoid unnecessary confusion with the Sri Lanka ETA Visa approval.
